Equestrian Sport & Culinary Culture

The Merano Grand Prix is one of Europe’s most important equestrian events, held this year for the 87th time. Traditionally, this event also turns the spotlight to another top-class occasion, the Merano WineFestival. A foretaste of what follows in November.

Wine Trail “Rebe”

Ten art installations, five tasting stations, thirteen grape varieties – and right in the middle, the view of Bolzano, which keeps opening up between the vines. Uphill or downhill, along the wine hiking trail on the Ritten, between Signat and Rentsch. Here, wines are tasted in close proximity to the vine rows they come from. But “Rebe” is not only wine, it is also a gallery for staging artistic objects along the Ritten wine-growing area.
