35th Merano Wine Festival

What began in 1992 as an idea by Helmuth Köcher has long been one of the top addresses for winemakers, sommeliers and wine lovers from all over Europe. For the 35th time, the wine salon of excellence and exclusivity opens its doors at the Merano Kurhaus. Center stage are the Platinum wines of the WineHunter Award, the peak of a strictly curated selection pyramid. Added to this are biodynamic and organic wines at TasteTerroir, masterclasses, and to round it off a day entirely dedicated to Champagne.

Wine Trail “Rebe”

Ten art installations, five tasting stations, thirteen grape varieties – and right in the middle, the view of Bolzano, which keeps opening up between the vines. Uphill or downhill, along the wine hiking trail on the Ritten, between Signat and Rentsch. Here, wines are tasted in close proximity to the vine rows they come from. But “Rebe” is not only wine, it is also a gallery for staging artistic objects along the Ritten wine-growing area.
